A Great Device for the Price, But Acer Could Improve Thermals

This device is impressive overall, except for its thermal performance. While gaming, the laptop consistently reaches temperatures over 90°C, making it uncomfortable (even painful) to touch the upper part of the laptop. The CPU is particularly prone to overheating. The only solution I've found so far is to use ThrottleStop software to disable turbo boost for the CPU, which allows the laptop to run even hardcore games at around 70°C.

Amazing Laptop

What impressed me most about this laptop is its thermal performance. When turbo mode is not activated, the fans remain relatively quiet, with GPU temperatures at around 70 degrees and CPU temperatures around 78 degrees during heavy gaming in performance mode. Activating turbo mode reduces temperatures to around 60 degrees. Turbo mode also offers a slight FPS boost, although GPU power does not exceed 90W. You can expect smooth gaming with high FPS on this laptop for sure.

Outstanding RTX Quality and Performance

The performance and quality of this laptop are simply awesome, especially considering the price. It delivers perfect FPS on games that demand a lot of processing power. I mainly use it for Minecraft RTX, Gmod, and Forza, and it provides the best graphics experience. Choosing this as my first gaming PC was definitely the right decision for enjoying exclusive games with top-notch graphics.

Quality Declines

I never expected to worry about burns from a laptop. Additionally, it began randomly shutting off. I suspected a charger issue and bought a new one, but the problem persisted. Now, it only works when unplugged from the charger, and the battery life is limited.

I may not be well-versed in computer specs for high-quality gaming laptops, but after thorough research, I felt that this product offered the functionality my son needed for online gaming at a reasonable price compared to similar products. I gifted this laptop to my son, and he absolutely loves it! He raves about the awesome graphics and the high-speed performance that eliminates lag during online gaming.
