Sleek and Budget-Friendly

This laptop came at a great price, offering a sleek design despite its budget feel. The webcam is average, but it compensates with decent sound. Typing feels excellent, and it's quite responsive. With some RAM and SSD upgrades, it performs like a charm.

Disappointing Experience

I opted for a Windows-based laptop to work on Microsoft Office files, thinking it would provide more value than my aging Chromebook. Unfortunately, this laptop has been painfully slow in loading pages, with internet speeds consistently lagging (unless I restart frequently). The Microsoft Edge browser constantly bombards me with offers and coupons that rarely work, not to mention ASUS trying to upsell me on extended warranties and additional cloud storage, which I don't even use. The fingerprint reader, although not a primary reason for buying, has been unreliable, recognizing my finger only occasionally. The battery life barely lasts a couple of hours, and if you miss the initial low battery warning, it abruptly shuts down. Perhaps it's Windows 11 or a lemon unit, but regardless, I can't recommend this laptop to anyone.
