Impressive Camera and Microphone

I bought this laptop for my wife and was pleasantly surprised. The built-in camera and microphone are of excellent quality, providing HD video and clear audio for video conferencing. With the Intel Core i7 processor, it's quite fast. This laptop offers great value, and the 17.3" monitor size is a bonus. I'd certainly make this choice again.

Brittle Build Quality

This laptop has its merits, but one significant drawback is the cheap plastic casing. After around two months of use, the plastic around the hinges started to crack on both sides. I seldom closed the laptop, so it's a clear case of the plastic becoming brittle with age. This issue has led me to the decision not to purchase another HP laptop in the future.

Short-Lived Durability

It's become apparent that buying an extended warranty is essential for this laptop. It performed as expected initially, but four months after the return date, the battery stopped holding a charge. It was an unintended purchase, and I'm not satisfied with it. As a student, I require reliability in terms of battery life. I may end up returning it and getting the one I originally wanted.
